This gorgeous white gold plated 925 Sterling silver ring has been inlaid with twenty two clear brilliant cut cubic zirconia stones alongside a beautiful blue fire opal, which flashes a stunning kaleidoscope of blue and green colors.

The evil eye is an amulet traditionally believed to protect people against the "evil eye". In Ancient Greece, the Philosopher Plutarch believed that the human eye had the power to release invisible rays of energy that were potent enough to harm humans or animals. He philosophized that if someone was the recipient of an "evil eye" glance, it could bring them great harm and unhappiness, or even be deadly. The reason evil eye amulets are most commonly created in blue is that, according to Greek and Aegean history, only blue-eyed people are able to bestow the curse (intentionally or unintentionally), so the amulets are ironically created using blue to reflect the eye color that they are warding off.
