Authentic Gibeon Meteorite Ring
Authentic Gibeon Meteorite Ring
This stunning ring is made from a solid piece of authentic Gibeon Meteorite!
About 600 million years ago, a massive meteoroid hurtled through space before crashing into the land that would, many millennia later, become known as Namibia. While on its Earthbound journey, it shattered, sending more than 100 meteorites shooting toward the Earth, leaving blazing trails in their wake. A large portion of these space rocks were found around the village of Gibeon, earning them the name "Gibeon Meteorites". Even before the start of the Iron Age, local people used the meteorites to make iron tools and weapons.
The unique lines on the surface of Gibeon Meteorites are known as "Widmanstätten patterns", and are the result of cooling in outer space over billions of years, as well as the effects of extreme heat as the meteorite traveled through the Earth's atmosphere. This rare phenomenon does not occur naturally on Earth, and is what gives Gibeon Meteorites their distinct appearance.
This ring is available as a flat band or rounded band.
The width of the band is 5mm.
Comes with a FREE black ring box ready for giving!
★ METEORITE RING CARE ★
Although Gibeon Meteorite is naturally stain and rust resistant under normal conditions, there are some basic steps you’ll want to take to keep your ring looking its best. As with all fine jewelry, it is best to remove your rings while swimming and avoid exposure to salt water. We also recommend that you do not expose your ring to any household cleaners or chemicals, especially those that contain bleach or strong acids, as these chemicals can damage the meteorite. You should not wear your rings in swimming pools or hot tubs as the water contains chlorine bleach.
★ FREE RING BOX ★
Our genuine Gibeon Meteorite rings come with a free ring box. They are perfect for weddings, engagements, anniversary gifts, promise rings, birthdays, graduations, Valentine's Day gifts, or as a "just because" gift for someone special.
★ SIZING ★
Enjoy a perfect fit with our comfort sizing. To ensure you order the right size, you can either use a previous ring, visit a jeweler, or use a simple ring sizer. We recommend having your finger sized by a jeweler prior to ordering, as this is the most accurate way to find out your ring size. Many jewelers actually offer their ring sizing services for free. To get the most accurate size, we recommend visiting at least two different jewelers. Meteorite wedding bands cannot be resized due to the durability and strength of the material, so please make sure to select the correct ring size when ordering. If you are still unsure, please contact us.

★ NOTES ★
Our rings are made with genuine Gibeon Meteorite, therefore while each ring will look very similar, no two rings will look exactly the same as the natural patterns and lines on the surface of the meteorite will be slightly different in each ring.
